بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
شروع اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
1) يٰسۤۚ
ترجمہ : یٰسٓ
Ya Sin.
2) وَالۡقُرۡاٰنِ الۡحَكِيۡمِ ۙ
ترجمہ : قسم ہے قرآن کی جو حکمت سے بھرا ہوا ہے
By the wise Qur’an,
3) اِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَۙ
ترجمہ : اے محمدﷺ) بےشک تم پیغمبروں میں سے ہو
Lo! thou art of those sent
4) عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٍؕ
ترجمہ : سیدھے رستے پر
On a straight path,
5) تَنۡزِيۡلَ الۡعَزِيۡزِ الرَّحِيۡمِ ۙ
ترجمہ : یہ خدائے) غالب (اور) مہربان نے نازل کیا ہے
A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful,
6) لِتُنۡذِرَ قَوۡمًا مَّاۤ اُنۡذِرَ اٰبَآؤُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ غٰفِلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : تاکہ تم ان لوگوں کو جن کے باپ دادا کو متنبہ نہیں کیا گیا تھا متنبہ کردو وہ غفلت میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں
That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
7) لَقَدۡ حَقَّ الۡقَوۡلُ عَلٰٓى اَكۡثَرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : ان میں سے اکثر پر (خدا کی) بات پوری ہوچکی ہے سو وہ ایمان نہیں لائیں گے
Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not.
8) إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَـٰلًۭا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
ترجمہ : ہم نے ان کی گردنوں میں طوق ڈال رکھے ہیں اور وہ ٹھوڑیوں تک (پھنسے ہوئے ہیں) تو ان کے سر اُلل رہے ہیں
Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff necked.
9) وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۡۢ بَيۡنِ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ سَدًّا وَّمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ سَدًّا فَاَغۡشَيۡنٰهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُبۡصِرُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور ہم نے ان کے آگے بھی دیوار بنا دی اور ان کے پیچھے بھی۔ پھر ان پر پردہ ڈال دیا تو یہ دیکھ نہیں سکتے
And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not.
10) وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَاَنۡذَرۡتَهُمۡ اَمۡ لَمۡ تُنۡذِرۡهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور تم ان کو نصیحت کرو یا نہ کرو ان کے لئے برابر ہے وہ ایمان نہیں لانے کے
Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not.
11) اِنَّمَا تُنۡذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكۡرَ وَخَشِىَ الرَّحۡمٰنَ بِالۡغَيۡبِۚ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِمَغۡفِرَةٍ وَّاَجۡرٍ كَرِيۡمٍ
ترجمہ : تم تو صرف اس شخص کو نصیحت کرسکتے ہو جو نصیحت کی پیروی کرے اور خدا سے غائبانہ ڈرے سو اس کو مغفرت اور بڑے ثواب کی بشارت سنا دو
Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward.
12) اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡىِ الۡمَوۡتٰى وَنَكۡتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوۡا وَاٰثَارَهُمۡؕ وَكُلَّ شَىۡءٍ اَحۡصَيۡنٰهُ فِىۡۤ اِمَامٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ
ترجمہ : بےشک ہم مردوں کو زندہ کریں گے اور جو کچھ وہ آگے بھیج چکے اور (جو) ان کے نشان پیچھے رہ گئے ہم ان کو قلمبند کرلیتے ہیں۔ اور ہر چیز کو ہم نے کتاب روشن (یعنی لوح محفوظ) میں لکھ رکھا ہے۔
Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register.
13) وَاضۡرِبۡ لَهُمۡ مَّثَلاً اَصۡحٰبَ الۡقَرۡيَةِ ۘ اِذۡ جَآءَهَا الۡمُرۡسَلُوۡنَۚ
ترجمہ : اور ان سے گاؤں والوں کا قصہ بیان کرو جب ان کے پاس پیغمبر آئے
Coin for them a similitude: The people of the city when those sent (from Allah) came unto them;
14) اِذۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡهِمُ اثۡنَيۡنِ فَكَذَّبُوۡهُمَا فَعَزَّزۡنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُـوۡۤا اِنَّاۤ اِلَيۡكُمۡ مُّرۡسَلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : (یعنی) جب ہم نے ان کی طرف دو (پیغمبر) بھیجے تو انہوں نے ان کو جھٹلایا۔ پھر ہم نے تیسرے سے تقویت دی تو انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم تمہاری طرف پیغمبر ہو کر آئے ہیں
When We sent unto them twain, and they denied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: Lo! we have been sent unto you.
15) قَالُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡـتُمۡ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثۡلُـنَا ۙ وَمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍۙ اِنۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ اِلَّا تَكۡذِبُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : وہ بولے کہ تم (اور کچھ) نہیں مگر ہماری طرح کے آدمی (ہو) اور خدا نے کوئی چیز نازل نہیں کی تم محض جھوٹ بولتے ہو
They said: Ye are but mortals like unto us. The Beneficent hath naught revealed. Ye do but lie!
16) قَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا يَعۡلَمُ اِنَّاۤ اِلَيۡكُمۡ لَمُرۡسَلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارا پروردگار جانتا ہے کہ ہم تمہاری طرف (پیغام دے کر) بھیجے گئے ہیں
They answered: Our Lord knoweth that we are indeed sent unto you,
17) وَمَا عَلَيۡنَاۤ اِلَّا الۡبَلٰغُ الۡمُبِيۡنُ
ترجمہ : اور ہمارے ذمے تو صاف صاف پہنچا دینا ہے اور بس
And our duty is but plain conveyance (of the message).
18) قَالُـوۡۤا اِنَّا تَطَيَّرۡنَا بِكُمۡۚ لَٮِٕنۡ لَّمۡ تَنۡتَهُوۡا لَنَرۡجُمَنَّكُمۡ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُمۡ مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ
ترجمہ : وہ بولے کہ ہم تم کو نامبارک سمجھتے ہیں۔ اگر تم باز نہ آؤ گے تو ہم تمہیں سنگسار کردیں گے اور تم کو ہم سے دکھ دینے والا عذاب پہنچے گا
(The people of the city) said: We augur ill of you. If ye desist not, we shall surely stone you, and grievous torture will befall you at our hands.
19) قَالُوۡا طآٮِٕرُكُمۡ مَّعَكُمۡؕ اَٮِٕنۡ ذُكِّرۡتُمۡؕ بَلۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ قَوۡمٌ مُّسۡرِفُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : انہوں نے کہا کہ تمہاری نحوست تمہارے ساتھ ہے۔ کیا اس لئے کہ تم کو نصیحت کی گئی۔ بلکہ تم ایسے لوگ ہو جو حد سے تجاوز کر گئے ہو
They said: Your evil augury be with you! Is it because ye are reminded (of the truth)? Nay, but ye are froward folk!
20) وَجَآءَ مِنۡ اَقۡصَا الۡمَدِيۡنَةِ رَجُلٌ يَّسۡعٰى قَالَ يٰقَوۡمِ اتَّبِعُوۡا الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَۙ
ترجمہ : اور شہر کے پرلے کنارے سے ایک آدمی دوڑتا ہوا آیا کہنے لگا کہ اے میری قوم پیغمبروں کے پیچھے چلو
And there came from the uttermost part of the city a man running. He cried: O my people! Follow those who have been sent!
21) اتَّبِعُوۡا مَنۡ لَّا يَسۡـــَٔلُكُمۡ اَجۡرًا وَّهُمۡ مُّهۡتَدُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : ایسوں کے جو تم سے صلہ نہیں مانگتے اور وہ سیدھے رستے پر ہیں
Follow those who ask of you no fee, and who are rightly guided.
22) وَمَا لِىَ لَاۤ اَعۡبُدُ الَّذِىۡ فَطَرَنِىۡ وَاِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور مجھے کیا ہے میں اس کی پرستش نہ کروں جس نے مجھے پیدا کیا اور اسی کی طرف تم کو لوٹ کر جانا ہے
For what cause should I not serve Him Who hath created me, and unto Whom ye will be brought back?
23) ءَاَ تَّخِذُ مِنۡ دُوۡنِهٖۤ اٰلِهَةً اِنۡ يُّرِدۡنِ الرَّحۡمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغۡنِ عَنِّىۡ شَفَاعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـــًٔا وَّلَا يُنۡقِذُوۡنِۚ
ترجمہ : کیا میں ان کو چھوڑ کر اوروں کو معبود بناؤں؟ اگر خدا میرے حق میں نقصان کرنا چاہے تو ان کی سفارش مجھے کچھ بھی فائدہ نہ دے سکے اور نہ وہ مجھ کو چھڑا ہی سکیں
Shall I take (other) gods in place of Him when, if the Beneficent should wish me any harm, their intercession will avail me naught, nor can they save?
24) اِنِّىۡۤ اِذًا لَّفِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ
ترجمہ : تب تو میں صریح گمراہی میں مبتلا ہوگیا
Then truly I should be in error manifest.
25) اِنِّىۡۤ اٰمَنۡتُ بِرَبِّكُمۡ فَاسۡمَعُوۡنِؕ
ترجمہ : میں تمہارے پروردگار پر ایمان لایا ہوں سو میری بات سن رکھو
Lo! I have believed in your Lord, so hear me!
26) قِيۡلَ ادۡخُلِ الۡجَـنَّةَ ؕ قَالَ يٰلَيۡتَ قَوۡمِىۡ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَۙ
ترجمہ : حکم ہوا کہ بہشت میں داخل ہوجا۔ بولا کاش! میری قوم کو خبر ہو
It was said (unto him): Enter paradise. He said: Would that my people knew
27) بِمَا غَفَرَلِىۡ رَبِّىۡ وَجَعَلَنِىۡ مِنَ الۡمُكۡرَمِيۡنَ
ترجمہ : کہ خدا نے مجھے بخش دیا اور عزت والوں میں کیا
With what (munificence) my Lord hath pardoned me and made me of the honoured ones!
28) وَمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلٰى قَوۡمِهٖ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ مِنۡ جُنۡدٍ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُـنَّا مُنۡزِلِيۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور ہم نے اس کے بعد اس کی قوم پر کوئی لشکر نہیں اُتارا اور نہ ہم اُتارنے والے تھے ہی
We sent not down against his people after him a host from heaven, nor do We ever send.
29) اِنۡ كَانَتۡ اِلَّا صَيۡحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَاِذَا هُمۡ خٰمِدُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : وہ تو صرف ایک چنگھاڑ تھی (آتشین) سو وہ (اس سے) ناگہاں بجھ کر رہ گئے
It was but one Shout, and lo! they were extinct.
30) يٰحَسۡرَةً عَلَى الۡعِبَادِ ؔۚ مَا يَاۡتِيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ اِلَّا كَانُوۡا بِهٖ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : بندوں پر افسوس ہے کہ ان کے پاس کوئی پیغمبر نہیں آتا مگر اس سے تمسخر کرتے ہیں
Ah, the anguish for the bondmen! Never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him!
31) اَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا كَمۡ اَهۡلَـكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُمۡ مِّنَ الۡقُرُوۡنِ اَنَّهُمۡ اِلَيۡهِمۡ لَا يَرۡجِعُوۡنَؕ
ترجمہ : کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے ان سے پہلے بہت سے لوگوں کو ہلاک کردیا تھا اب وہ ان کی طرف لوٹ کر نہیں آئیں گے
Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them, which indeed returned not unto them;
32) وَاِنۡ كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيۡعٌ لَّدَيۡنَا مُحۡضَرُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور سب کے سب ہمارے روبرو حاضر کيے جائیں گے
But all, without exception, will be brought before Us.
33) وَاٰيَةٌ لَّهُمُ الۡاَرۡضُ الۡمَيۡتَةُ ۖۚ اَحۡيَيۡنٰهَا وَاَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهَا حَبًّا فَمِنۡهُ يَاۡكُلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور ایک نشانی ان کے لئے زمین مردہ ہے کہ ہم نے اس کو زندہ کیا اور اس میں سے اناج اُگایا۔ پھر یہ اس میں سے کھاتے ہیں
A token unto them is the dead earth. We revive it, and We bring forth from it grain so that they eat thereof;
34) وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيۡهَا جَنّٰتٍ مِّنۡ نَّخِيۡلٍ وَّاَعۡنَابٍ وَّفَجَّرۡنَا فِيۡهَا مِنَ الۡعُيُوۡنِۙ
ترجمہ : اور اس میں کھجوروں اور انگوروں کے باغ پیدا کیے اور اس میں چشمے جاری کردیئے
And We have placed therein gardens of the date palm and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein,
35) لِيَاۡكُلُوۡا مِنۡ ثَمَرِهٖۙ وَمَا عَمِلَتۡهُ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡؕ اَفَلَا يَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : تاکہ یہ ان کے پھل کھائیں اور ان کے ہاتھوں نے تو ان کو نہیں بنایا تو پھر یہ شکر کیوں نہیں کرتے؟
That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks?
36) سُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ الۡاَزۡوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۡۢبِتُ الۡاَرۡضُ وَمِنۡ اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : وہ خدا پاک ہے جس نے زمین کی نباتات کے اور خود ان کے اور جن چیزوں کی ان کو خبر نہیں سب کے جوڑے بنائے
Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not!
37) وَاٰيَةٌ لَّهُمُ الَّيۡلُ ۖۚ نَسۡلَخُ مِنۡهُ النَّهَارَ فَاِذَا هُمۡ مُّظۡلِمُوۡنَۙ
ترجمہ : اور ایک نشانی ان کے لئے رات ہے کہ اس میں سے ہم دن کو کھینچ لیتے ہیں تو اس وقت ان پر اندھیرا چھا جاتا ہے
A token unto them is night. We strip it of the day, and lo! they are in darkness.
38) وَالشَّمۡسُ تَجۡرِىۡ لِمُسۡتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ؕ ذٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيۡرُ الۡعَزِيۡزِ الۡعَلِيۡمِؕ
ترجمہ : اور سورج اپنے مقرر رستے پر چلتا رہتا ہے۔ یہ (خدائے) غالب اور دانا کا (مقرر کیا ہوا) اندازہ ہے
And the sun runneth on unto a resting place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise.
39) وَالۡقَمَرَ قَدَّرۡنٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتّٰى عَادَ كَالۡعُرۡجُوۡنِ الۡقَدِيۡمِ
ترجمہ : اور چاند کی بھی ہم نے منزلیں مقرر کردیں یہاں تک کہ (گھٹتے گھٹتے) کھجور کی پرانی شاخ کی طرح ہو جاتا ہے
And for the moon We have appointed mansions till she return like an old shrivelled palm leaf.
40) لَا الشَّمۡسُ يَنۡۢبَغِىۡ لَهَاۤ اَنۡ تُدۡرِكَ الۡقَمَرَ وَلَا الَّيۡلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِؕ وَكُلٌّ فِىۡ فَلَكٍ يَّسۡبَحُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : نہ تو سورج ہی سے ہوسکتا ہے کہ چاند کو جا پکڑے اور نہ رات ہی دن سے پہلے آسکتی ہے۔ اور سب اپنے اپنے دائرے میں تیر رہے ہیں
It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor doth the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbit.
41) وَاٰيَةٌ لَّهُمۡ اَنَّا حَمَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ فِىۡ الۡفُلۡكِ الۡمَشۡحُوۡنِۙ
ترجمہ : اور ایک نشانی ان کے لئے یہ ہے کہ ہم نے ان کی اولاد کو بھری ہوئی کشتی میں سوار کیا
And a token unto them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship,
42) وَخَلَقۡنَا لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ مِّثۡلِهٖ مَا يَرۡكَبُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور ان کے لئے ویسی ہی اور چیزیں پیدا کیں جن پر وہ سوار ہوتے ہیں
And have created for them of the like thereof whereon they ride.
43) وَاِنۡ نَّشَاۡ نُغۡرِقۡهُمۡ فَلَا صَرِيۡخَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنۡقَذُوۡنَۙ
ترجمہ : اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو ان کو غرق کردیں۔ پھر نہ تو ان کا کوئی فریاد رس ہوا اور نہ ان کو رہائی ملے
And if We will, We drown them, and there is no help for them, neither can they be saved;
44) اِلَّا رَحۡمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَاعًا اِلٰى حِيۡنٍ
ترجمہ : مگر یہ ہماری رحمت اور ایک مدت تک کے فائدے ہیں
Unless by mercy from Us and as comfort for a while.
45) وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوۡا مَا بَيۡنَ اَيۡدِيۡكُمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ جو تمہارے آگے اور جو تمہارے پیچھے ہے اس سے ڈرو تاکہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے
When it is said unto them: Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy (they are heedless).
46) وَمَا تَاۡتِيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ اٰيَةٍ مِّنۡ اٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ اِلَّا كَانُوۡا عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِيۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور ان کے پاس ان کے پروردگار کی کوئی نشانی نہیں آتی مگر اس سے منہ پھیر لیتے ہیں
Never came a token of the tokens of their Lord to them, but they did turn away from it!
47) وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ اَنۡفِقُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللّٰهُۙ قَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لِلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَنُطۡعِمُ مَنۡ لَّوۡ يَشَآءُ اللّٰهُ اَطۡعَمَهٗٓ ۖ اِنۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ اِلَّا فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ
ترجمہ : اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ جو رزق خدا نے تم کو دیا ہے اس میں سے خرچ کرو۔ تو کافر مومنوں سے کہتے ہیں کہ بھلا ہم ان لوگوں کو کھانا کھلائیں جن کو اگر خدا چاہتا تو خود کھلا دیتا۔ تم تو صریح غلطی میں ہو
And when it is said unto them: Spend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed? Ye are in naught else than error manifest.
48) وَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَتٰى هٰذَا الۡوَعۡدُ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور کہتے ہیں اگر تم سچ کہتے ہو تو یہ وعدہ کب (پورا) ہوگا؟
And they say: When will this promise be fulfilled, if ye are truthful?
49) مَا يَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَّا صَيۡحَةً وَّاحِدَةً تَاۡخُذُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ يَخِصِّمُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : یہ تو ایک چنگھاڑ کے منتظر ہیں جو ان کو اس حال میں کہ باہم جھگڑ رہے ہوں گے آپکڑے گی
They await but one Shout, which will surprise them while they are disputing.
50) فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيۡعُوۡنَ تَوۡصِيَةً وَّلَاۤ اِلٰٓى اَهۡلِهِمۡ يَرۡجِعُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : پھر نہ وصیت کرسکیں گے اور نہ اپنے گھر والوں میں واپس جاسکیں گے
Then they cannot make bequest, nor can they return to their own folk.
51) وَنُفِخَ فِىۡ الصُّوۡرِ فَاِذَا هُمۡ مِّنَ الۡاَجۡدَاثِ اِلٰى رَبِّهِمۡ يَنۡسِلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور (جس وقت) صور پھونکا جائے گا یہ قبروں سے (نکل کر) اپنے پروردگار کی طرف دوڑ پڑیں گے
And the trumpet is blown and lo! from the graves they hie unto their Lord,
52) قَالُوۡا يٰوَيۡلَنَا مَنۡۢ بَعَثَنَا مِنۡ مَّرۡقَدِنَاۘؔهٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ وَصَدَقَ الۡمُرۡسَلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : کہیں گے اے ہے ہمیں ہماری خوابگاہوں سے کس نے (جگا) اُٹھایا؟ یہ وہی تو ہے جس کا خدا نے وعدہ کیا تھا اور پیغمبروں نے سچ کہا تھا
Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth.
53) اِنۡ كَانَتۡ اِلَّا صَيۡحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَاِذَا هُمۡ جَمِيۡعٌ لَّدَيۡنَا مُحۡضَرُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : صرف ایک زور کی آواز کا ہونا ہوگا کہ سب کے سب ہمارے روبرو آحاضر ہوں گے
It is but one Shout, and behold them brought together before Us!
54) فَالۡيَوۡمَ لَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسٌ شَيۡـــًٔا وَّلَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ اِلَّا مَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اس روز کسی شخص پر کچھ ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا اور تم کو بدلہ ویسا ہی ملے گا جیسے تم کام کرتے تھے
This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do.
55) اِنَّ اَصۡحٰبَ الۡجَـنَّةِ الۡيَوۡمَ فِىۡ شُغُلٍ فٰكِهُوۡنَۚ
ترجمہ : اہل جنت اس روز عیش ونشاط کے مشغلے میں ہوں گے
Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed,
56) هُمۡ وَاَزۡوَاجُهُمۡ فِىۡ ظِلٰلٍ عَلَى الۡاَرَآٮِٕكِ مُتَّكِـــُٔوۡنَ
ترجمہ : وہ بھی اور ان کی بیویاں بھی سایوں میں تختوں پر تکیے لگائے بیٹھے ہوں گے
They and their wives, in pleasant shade, on thrones reclining;
57) لَهُمۡ فِيۡهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّلَهُمۡ مَّا يَدَّعُوۡنَ ۖۚ
ترجمہ : وہاں ان کے لئے میوے اور جو چاہیں گے (موجود ہوگا)
Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask;
58) سَلٰمٌ قَوۡلاً مِّنۡ رَّبٍّ رَّحِيۡمٍ
ترجمہ : پروردگار مہربان کی طرف سے سلام (کہا جائے گا)
The word from a Merciful Lord (for them) is: Peace!
59) وَامۡتَازُوۡا الۡيَوۡمَ اَيُّهَا الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور گنہگارو! آج الگ ہوجاؤ
But avaunt ye, O ye guilty, this day!
60) اَلَمۡ اَعۡهَدۡ اِلَيۡكُمۡ يٰبَنِىۡۤ اٰدَمَ اَنۡ لَّا تَعۡبُدُوۡا الشَّيۡطٰنَۚ اِنَّهٗ لَـكُمۡ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِيۡنٌ ۙ
ترجمہ : اے آدم کی اولاد ہم نے تم سے کہہ نہیں دیا تھا کہ شیطان کو نہ پوجنا وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے
Did I not charge you, O ye sons of Adam, that ye worship not the devil Lo! he is your open foe!
61) وَّاَنِ اعۡبُدُوۡنِىۡ ؔؕ هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٌ
ترجمہ : اور یہ کہ میری ہی عبادت کرنا۔ یہی سیدھا رستہ ہے
But that ye worship Me? That was the right path.
62) وَلَقَدۡ اَضَلَّ مِنۡكُمۡ جِبِلًّا كَثِيۡرًاؕ اَفَلَمۡ تَكُوۡنُوۡا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور اس نے تم میں سے بہت سی خلقت کو گمراہ کردیا تھا۔ تو کیا تم سمجھتے نہیں تھے؟
Yet he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense?
63) هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِىۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : یہی وہ جہنم ہے جس کی تمہیں خبر دی جاتی ہے
This is hell which ye were promised (if ye followed him).
64) اِصۡلَوۡهَا الۡيَوۡمَ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : (سو) جو تم کفر کرتے رہے ہو اس کے بدلے آج اس میں داخل ہوجاؤ
Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved.
65) اَلۡيَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلٰٓى اَفۡوَاهِهِمۡ وَتُكَلِّمُنَاۤ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَتَشۡهَدُ اَرۡجُلُهُمۡ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَكۡسِبُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : آج ہم ان کے مونہوں پر مہر لگا دیں گے اور جو کچھ یہ کرتے رہے تھے ان کے ہاتھ ہم سے بیان کردیں گے اور ان کے پاؤں (اس کی) گواہی دیں گے
This day We seal up their mouths, and their hands speak out to Us and their feet bear witness as to what they used to earn.
66) وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَـطَمَسۡنَا عَلٰٓى اَعۡيُنِهِمۡ فَاسۡتَبَقُوۡا الصِّرَاطَ فَاَنّٰى يُبۡصِرُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو ان کی آنکھوں کو مٹا کر (اندھا کر) دیں۔ پھر یہ رستے کو دوڑیں تو کہاں دیکھ سکیں گے
And had We willed, We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way. Then how could they have seen?
67) وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخۡنٰهُمۡ عَلٰى مَكَانَتِهِمۡ فَمَا اسۡتَطَاعُوۡا مُضِيًّا وَّلَا يَرۡجِعُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو ان کی جگہ پر ان کی صورتیں بدل دیں پھر وہاں سے نہ آگے جاسکیں اور نہ (پیچھے) لوٹ سکیں
And had We willed, We verily could have fixed them in their place, making them powerless to go forward or turn back.
68) وَمَنۡ نُّعَمِّرۡهُ نُـنَكِّسۡهُ فِىۡ الۡخَـلۡقِؕ اَفَلَا يَعۡقِلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور جس کو ہم بڑی عمر دیتے ہیں تو اسے خلقت میں اوندھا کردیتے ہیں تو کیا یہ سمجھتے نہیں؟
He whom we bring unto old age, We reverse him in creation (making him go back to weakness after strength). Have ye then no sense?
69) وَمَا عَلَّمۡنٰهُ الشِّعۡرَ وَمَا يَنۡۢبَغِىۡ لَهٗؕ اِنۡ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكۡرٌ وَّقُرۡاٰنٌ مُّبِيۡنٌۙ
ترجمہ : اور ہم نے ان (پیغمبر) کو شعر گوئی نہیں سکھائی اور نہ وہ ان کو شایاں ہے۔ یہ تو محض نصیحت اور صاف صاف قرآن (پُرازحکمت) ہے
And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain,
70) لِّيُنۡذِرَ مَنۡ كَانَ حَيًّا وَّيَحِقَّ الۡقَوۡلُ عَلَى الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ
ترجمہ : تاکہ اس شخص کو جو زندہ ہو ہدایت کا رستہ دکھائے اور کافروں پر بات پوری ہوجائے
To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers.
71) اَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا اَنَّا خَلَقۡنَا لَهُمۡ مِّمَّا عَمِلَتۡ اَيۡدِيۡنَاۤ اَنۡعَامًا فَهُمۡ لَهَا مٰلِكُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ جو چیزیں ہم نے اپنے ہاتھوں سے بنائیں ان میں سے ہم نے ان کے لئے چارپائے پیدا کر دیئے اور یہ ان کے مالک ہیں
Have they not seen how We have created for them of Our handiwork the cattle, so that they are their owners,
72) وَذَلَّـلۡنٰهَا لَهُمۡ فَمِنۡهَا رَكُوۡبُهُمۡ وَمِنۡهَا يَاۡكُلُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور ان کو ان کے قابو میں کردیا تو کوئی تو ان میں سے ان کی سواری ہے اور کسی کو یہ کھاتے ہیں
And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food?
73) وَلَهُمۡ فِيۡهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُؕ اَفَلَا يَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : اور ان میں ان کے لئے (اور) فائدے اور پینے کی چیزیں ہیں۔ تو یہ شکر کیوں نہیں کرتے؟
Benefits and (divers) drinks have they from them. Will they not then give thanks?
74) وَاتَّخَذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اٰلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنۡصَرُوۡنَؕ
ترجمہ : اور انہوں نے خدا کے سوا (اور) معبود بنا لیے ہیں کہ شاید (ان سے) ان کو مدد پہنچے
And they have taken (other) gods beside Allah, in order that they may be helped.
75) لَا يَسۡتَطِيۡعُوۡنَ نَصۡرَهُمۡۙ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُنۡدٌ مُّحۡضَرُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : (مگر) وہ ان کی مدد کی (ہرگز) طاقت نہیں رکھتے۔ اور وہ ان کی فوج ہو کر حاضر کیے جائیں گے
It is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms.
76) فَلَا يَحۡزُنۡكَ قَوۡلُهُمۡۘ اِنَّا نَـعۡلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّوۡنَ وَمَا يُعۡلِنُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : تو ان کی باتیں تمہیں غمناک نہ کردیں۔ یہ جو کچھ چھپاتے اور جو کچھ ظاہر کرتے ہیں ہمیں سب معلوم ہے
So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim.
77) اَوَلَمۡ يَرَ الۡاِنۡسَانُ اَنَّا خَلَقۡنٰهُ مِنۡ نُّطۡفَةٍ فَاِذَا هُوَ خَصِيۡمٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ
ترجمہ : کیا انسان نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے اس کو نطفے سے پیدا کیا۔ پھر وہ تڑاق پڑاق جھگڑنے لگا
Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent.
78) وَضَرَبَ لَـنَا مَثَلاً وَّ نَسِىَ خَلۡقَهٗؕ قَالَ مَنۡ يُّحۡىِ الۡعِظَامَ وَهِىَ رَمِيۡمٌ
ترجمہ : اور ہمارے بارے میں مثالیں بیان کرنے لگا اور اپنی پیدائش کو بھول گیا۔ کہنے لگا کہ (جب) ہڈیاں بوسیدہ ہوجائیں گی تو ان کو کون زندہ کرے گا؟
And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?
79) قُلۡ يُحۡيِيۡهَا الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡشَاَهَاۤ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍؕ وَّهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلۡقٍ عَلِيۡمٌۙ
ترجمہ : کہہ دو کہ ان کو وہ زندہ کرے گا جس نے ان کو پہلی بار پیدا کیا تھا۔ اور وہ سب قسم کا پیدا کرنا جانتا ہے
Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation,
80) اۨلَّذِىۡ جَعَلَ لَـكُمۡ مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الۡاَخۡضَرِ نَارًا فَاِذَاۤ اَنۡـتُمۡ مِّنۡهُ تُوۡقِدُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : جس نے تمہارے لئے سبز درخت سے آگ پیدا کی پھر تم اس (کی ٹہنیوں کو رگڑ کر ان) سے آگ نکالتے ہو
Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it.
81) اَوَلَيۡسَ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰٓى اَنۡ يَّخۡلُقَ مِثۡلَهُمۡؔؕ بَلٰى وَهُوَ الۡخَـلّٰقُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ
ترجمہ : بھلا جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا، کیا وہ اس بات پر قادر نہیں کہ (ان کو پھر) ویسے ہی پیدا کر دے۔ کیوں نہیں۔ اور وہ تو بڑا پیدا کرنے والا اور علم والا ہے
Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All Wise Creator,
82) اِنَّمَاۤ اَمۡرُهٗۤ اِذَاۤ اَرَادَ شَیْـًٔـا اَنۡ يَّقُوۡلَ لَهٗ كُنۡ فَيَكُوۡنُ
ترجمہ : اس کی شان یہ ہے کہ جب وہ کسی چیز کا ارادہ کرتا ہے تو اس سے فرما دیتا ہے کہ ہوجا تو وہ ہوجاتی ہے
But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is.
83) فَسُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِىۡ بِيَدِهٖ مَلَـكُوۡتُ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ وَّاِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ
ترجمہ : وہ (ذات) پاک ہے جس کے ہاتھ میں ہر چیز کی بادشاہت ہے اور اسی کی طرف تم کو لوٹ کر جانا ہے
Therefor Glory be to Him in Whose hand is the dominion over all things! Unto Him ye will be brought back.

- Wal-Qur-aanil-Hakeem
- Innaka laminal mursaleen
- ‘Alaa Siraatim Mustaqeem
- Tanzeelal ‘Azeezir Raheem
- Litunzira qawmam maaa unzira aabaaa’uhum fahum ghaafiloon
- Laqad haqqal qawlu ‘alaaa aksarihim fahum laa yu’minoon
- Innaa ja’alnaa feee a’naaqihim aghlaalan fahiya ilal azqaani fahum muqmahoon
- Wa ja’alnaa min baini aydeehim saddanw-wa min khalfihim saddan fa aghshai naahum fahum laa yubsiroon
- Wa sawaaa’un ‘alaihim ‘a-anzartahum am lam tunzirhum laa yu’minoon
- Innamaa tunziru manit taba ‘az-Zikra wa khashiyar Rahmaana bilghaib, fabashshirhu bimaghfiratinw-wa ajrin kareem
- Innaa Nahnu nuhyil mawtaa wa naktubu maa qaddamoo wa aasaarahum; wa kulla shai’in ahsainaahu feee Imaamim Mubeen
- Wadrib lahum masalan Ashaabal Qaryatih; iz jaaa’ahal mursaloon
- Iz arsalnaaa ilaihimusnaini fakazzaboohumaa fa’azzaznaa bisaalisin faqaalooo innaaa ilaikum mursaloon
- Qaaloo maaa antum illaa basharum mislunaa wa maaa anzalar Rahmaanu min shai’in in antum illaa takziboon
- Qaaloo Rabbunaa ya’lamu innaaa ilaikum lamursaloon
- Wa maa ‘alainaaa illal balaaghul mubeen
- Qaaloo innaa tataiyarnaa bikum la’il-lam tantahoo lanar jumannakum wa la-yamassan nakum minnaa ‘azaabun aleem
- Qaaloo taaa’irukum ma’akum; a’in zukkirtum; bal antum qawmum musrifoon
- Wa jaaa’a min aqsal madeenati rajuluny yas’aa qaala yaa qawmit tabi’ul mursaleen
- Ittabi’oo mal-laa yas’alukum ajranw-wa hum muhtadoon
- Wa maa liya laaa a’budul lazee fataranee wa ilaihi turja’oon
- ‘A-attakhizu min dooniheee aalihatan iny-yuridnir Rahmaanu bidurril-laa tughni ‘annee shafaa ‘atuhum shai ‘anw-wa laa yunqizoon
- Inneee izal-lafee dalaa-lim-mubeen
- Inneee aamantu bi Rabbikum fasma’oon
- Qeelad khulil Jannnah; qaala yaa laita qawmee ya’lamoon
- Bimaa ghafara lee Rabbee wa ja’alanee minal mukrameen (End Juz 22)
- Wa maaa anzalnaa ‘alaa qawmihee mim ba’dihee min jundim minas-samaaa’i wa maa kunnaa munzileen
- In kaanat illaa saihatanw waahidatan fa-izaa hum khaamidoon
- Yaa hasratan ‘alal ‘ibaaad; maa ya’teehim mir Rasoolin illaa kaanoo bihee yastahzi ‘oon
- Alam yaraw kam ahlak naa qablahum minal qurooni annahum ilaihim laa yarji’oon
- Wa in kullul lammaa jamee’ul-ladainaa muhdaroon
- Wa Aayatul lahumul ardul maitatu ahyainaahaa wa akhrajnaa minhaa habban faminhu ya’kuloon
- Wa ja’alnaa feehaa jannaatim min nakheelinw wa a’naabinw wa fajjarnaa feeha minal ‘uyoon
- Li ya’kuloo min samarihee wa maa ‘amilat-hu aideehim; afalaa yashkuroon
- Subhaanal lazee khalaqal azwaaja kullahaa mimmaa tumbitul ardu wa min anfusihim wa mimmaa laa ya’lamoon
- Wa Aayatul lahumul lailu naslakhu minhun nahaara fa-izaa hum muzlimoon
- Wash-shamsu tajree limustaqarril lahaa; zaalika taqdeerul ‘Azeezil Aleem
- Walqamara qaddarnaahu manaazila hattaa ‘aada kal’ur joonil qadeem
- Lash shamsu yambaghee lahaaa an tudrikal qamara walal lailu saabiqun nahaar; wa kullun fee falaki yasbahoon
- Wa Aayatul lahum annaa hamalnaa zurriyatahum fil fulkil mashhoon
- Wa khalaqnaa lahum mim-mislihee maa yarkaboon
- Wa in nashaa nughriqhum falaa sareekha lahum wa laa hum yunqazoon
- Illaa rahmatam minnaa wa mataa’an ilaa heen
- Wa izaa qeela lahumuttaqoo maa baina aideekum wa maa khalfakum la’allakum turhamoon
- Wa maa ta’teehim min aayatim min Aayaati Rabbihim illaa kaanoo ‘anhaa mu’rideen
- Wa izaa qeela lahum anfiqoo mimmaa razaqakumul laahu qaalal lazeena kafaroo lillazeena aamanooo anut’imu mal-law yashaaa’ul laahu at’amahooo in antum illaa fee dalaalim mubeen
- Wa yaqooloona mataa haazal wa’du in kuntum saadiqeen
- Maa yanzuroona illaa saihatanw waahidatan ta’khuzuhum wa hum yakhissimoon
- Falaa yastatee’oona taw siyatanw-wa laaa ilaaa ahlihim yarji’oon
- Wa nufikha fis-soori faizaa hum minal ajdaasi ilaa Rabbihim yansiloon
- Qaaloo yaa wailanaa mam ba’asanaa mim marqadinaa; haaza maa wa’adar Rahmanu wa sadaqal mursaloon
- In kaanat illaa saihatanw waahidatan fa-izaa hum jamee’ul ladainaa muhdaroon
- Fal-Yawma laa tuzlamu nafsun shai’anw-wa laa tujzawna illaa maa kuntum ta’maloon
- Inna Ashaabal jannatil Yawma fee shughulin faakihoon
- Hum wa azwaajuhum fee zilaalin ‘alal araaa’iki muttaki’oon
- Lahum feehaa faakiha tunw-wa lahum maa yadda’oon
- Salaamun qawlam mir Rabbir Raheem
- Wamtaazul Yawma ayyuhal mujrimoon
- Alam a’had ilaikum yaa Baneee Aadama al-laa ta’budush Shaitaana innahoo lakum ‘aduwwum mubeen
- Wa ani’budoonee; haazaa Siraatum Mustaqeem
- Wa laqad adalla minkum jibillan kaseeraa; afalam takoonoo ta’qiloon
- Haazihee Jahannamul latee kuntum too’adoon
- Islawhal Yawma bimaa kuntum takfuroon
- Al-Yawma nakhtimu ‘alaaa afwaahihim wa tukallimunaaa aideehim wa tashhadu arjuluhum bimaa kaanoo yaksiboon
- Wa law nashaaa’u lata masna ‘alaaa aiyunihim fasta baqus-siraata fa-annaa yubsiroon
- Wa law nashaaa’u lamasakhnaahum ‘alaa makaanatihim famas-tataa’oo mudiyyanw-wa laa yarji’oon
- Wa man nu ‘ammirhu nunakkishu fil-khalq; afalaa ya’qiloon
- Wa maa ‘allamnaahush shi’ra wa maa yambaghee lah; in huwa illaa zikrunw-wa Qur-aanum mubeen
- Liyunzira man kaana haiyanw-wa yahiqqal qawlu ‘alal-kaafireen
- Awalam yaraw annaa khalaqnaa lahum mimmaa ‘amilat aideenaaa an’aaman fahum lahaa maalikoon
- Wa zallalnaahaa lahum faminhaa rakoobuhum wa minhaa ya’kuloon
- Wa lahum feehaa manaa fi’u wa mashaarib; afalaa yashkuroon
