Surah Al Hajj

Surah Al-Hajj is the 22nd chapter of the Holy Quran. The meaning of the title is “The Pilgrimage”. It was revealed in Medinah. It has 78 verses, 10 rukus and 1 sajdah. Surah Al-Hajj is located in juz’17.

It is named after the pilgrimage (hajj) to the Kaaba in Makkah, which is one of the central themes of the Surah. Surah Al-Hajj addresses various aspects of the pilgrimage, as well as broader themes of faith, accountability, and the Day of Judgment.
